Cornelius Food Truck Requirements

North Carolina has health and fire reciprocity — a food-truck health permit or fire inspection issued by any North Carolina jurisdiction is accepted statewide.

In Cornelius, health is overseen by Mecklenburg County Health Department and fire by Cornelius' fire authority — the local authorities whose permits and inspections North Carolina recognizes statewide.

If your event requires permitting, you'll work directly with the Town of Cornelius.

Licensing and insurance documentation is confirmed for the catering team assigned to your booking and can be shared with your venue on request.
